MEMBERSHIP rATES 

Voting Member:

  • Attorney in private practice and is in good standing with the New York State Bar: $50.00
  • Admitted to practice law in any other state (including Puerto Rico or D.C.) and either (i) resides in or (ii) is in private practice in the state of New York: $50.00
  • Judge, government, or non-profit attorney in good standing with the New York State Bar: $35.00
  • Any individual who would otherwise qualify to be a Voting Member, but is unemployed: $20.00
  • Lifetime Member: a present member over the age of 55 who has been in good standing with FALA New York for at least 7 years: $500.00

Associate Member:

  • Attorney in good standing and admitted to any bar of a foreign jurisdiction: $50.00
  • Judge, government, or non-profit attorney in good standing with any bar of a foreign jurisdiction: $35.00
  • A law school graduate not admitted to practice and either (i) resides in or is employed in New York, or (ii) intends to sit for the New York State Bar Exam: $20.00
  • An individual attending an American Bar Association accredited law school and either (i) resides in or is employed in New York or (ii) intends to sit for the New York State Bar Exam: $20.00
  • Any individual who would otherwise qualify to be an Associate Member, but is unemployed: $20.00
  • Paralegal: $20.00
