Foreign Trained Attorneys Committee This committee connects and supports Fil-Am attorneys who earned their law degrees outside the U.S., helping them navigate NYC’s legal landscape. Activities include networking events, mentorship sessions with experienced attorneys, and resources tailored to foreign-trained legal professionals seeking guidance, community, and professional growth. Committee Co-Chairs: Christopher Arcitio, Louise Lingat Committee Sub-Chairs: Julius Ester, Katrina Pimentel | Young Lawyers/Law Students Committee Supporting the next generation of Fil-Am legal professionals, this group provides mentorship, career guidance, and networking opportunities for law students and early-career attorneys. Members can attend networking nights, career panels, and workshops designed to help them navigate their legal journeys with confidence and community. Committee Co-Chairs: Rey Llena, Sofia Maristela | Public Service & Government Lawyers Committee For attorneys working in policy, nonprofits, or government, this group fosters connections, collaboration, and opportunities to give back. Members engage in pro bono clinics, advocacy nights, and panels highlighting careers in public service, helping strengthen the impact of Fil-Am lawyers in the public sector.
