In August of 2026, under the term of President Christopher Arcitio, FALA New York and the Filipino American Legal Defense and Education Fund (FALDEF) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) formally acknowledging the mutual interests of each organization to serve the Filipino and Filipino American community community and recognizing that the organizations will endeavor to support each other in their respective programs and initiatives including through pro-bono legal services, legal clinics, and Know Your Rights workshops and panels. The MOU could not have been successful without the support of FALDEF President Licelle Cobrador and Executive Director Randy Gonzales. The MOU can be found here.
