The NYS Judiciary’s Office of Justice Initiatives' Anti-Asian Hate Working Group will present a panel of experts on the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, Yick Wo v. Hopkins, and U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark. These events touch on immigration discrimination, equal protection, and the scope of birthright citizenship – issues that remain germane to our present day.  This program is co-sponsored by FALA New York, AABANY, and SABANY.
